Day 1: Arrival
Phnom Penh (D)
Morning arrival
at Phnom Penh Airport. Transfer to your hotel. With your professional guide
and prived car we start to visit Phnom Penh . Situated at the
confluence of the Mekong and Tonle Sap Rivers, the Cambodia's
capital city look like a big village- town where French colonial
influences can still be seen in old buildings restored. We will
first go to see Wat Phnom Temple.Then we will visit the Royal
Palace and the Silver Pagoda . The Palace is a magnificent
example of Khmer architecture, it was built in 1866. You will
see the Throne Hall and the Napoleon III Pavilion. Silver Pagoda
is one of the richest shrines in the world .The floor is made of
5.000 silver tiles. Afternoon, visit of the National Museum, a
Khmer red pavilion, which is dedicated to Khmer art and
sculpture. The majority are from the Angkor period (9th to 15th
century), and some from the 4th century. Overnight Phnom Penh
hotel 4* or similar in Phnom Penh
Day 2 :
Phnom Penh – Chau Doc ( B,D)
8 :30 am Pick
up at your hotel and transfer to the boat pier for boarding to
Chau Doc by Hang Chau Express boat or Victoria Express Boat.
Arrive Chau Doc around 13 : 00 am. Pick up and transfer to your
proposed hotel. Afternoon, visit the Sam Mountain with the caved
pagoda, enjoy the sunset down the Vietnamese – Cambodian border
from the summit of the mountain over the flat rice field.
Welcome dinner and overnight Victoria Chau hotel 4* in Chau Doc.
Day 3 : Chau
Doc – Can Tho - Trang On ( B,L,D )
Breakfast at
hotel then departure for Can Tho, 12.00-12h30 boarding LE
COCHINCHINE boat. Enjoy welcome drink. We take a small boat to
explore the CaiRang market one of the most bustling floating
markets in Mekong . The boat will take you through the
palm-shaded creek to see local houses and green orchards. Return
to the boat and then the cruise continue to Tra On. Leisurely
cruise down the Mekong while enjoying the beautiful scenery.
Lunch served on board. After lunch we go for pleasant walk on
the footpaths of the countryside to discover tropical fruit
orchards and the local people's activities, especially some
orchards (orange grove) with its farmers. Then return the boat
and head out to Caibe. Enjoy the magnificent sunset on the
Mangthi canal and Nicola river. Dinner and overnight on board in
Cochien River.
Day 4 : Trangon
– Cai Be - Saigon ( B)
After breakfast
on board over splendid sunrise on the Mekong.LeCochinchine
continues its cruise toward Caibe. Explore the lively Cai Be
floating market. Walking amongst the lush vegetation to visit
the handicraft villages and meet with local people and go
ashore to visit the French Gothic Cathedral and colorful port
area, with its colonial buildings, delightful flower gardens and
local coconut candy and rice paper manufacturers. We explore
evergreen islands and visit the former Imperial residence the An
Kiet House, where surviving members of the Kiet family will
welcome us with tea, and we can wander in the fruit orchards
around the house. 11 h00 Disembark in Caibe. Pick up and
transfer to Saigon. Arrival in Saigon around 4 pm. Droff at your
hotel. End of our service.
